Ukraine National Guard Commander: Russia Needs 70,000 Troops to Attack From Belarus
Major General Oleksandr Pivnenko, commander of Ukraine's National Guard, warned that a Russian attack from Belarusian territory would become a real threat if Russia assembles 70,000 troops there. He stressed that Ukrainian forces are doing everything possible to prevent that build-up. The northern front remains a key element of Kyiv's military calculations.
