Ultra-black car paint absorbs 99.90% of visible light
Scientists have developed an ultra-black automotive coating that absorbs an average of 99.90% of visible light. The composite can be applied using existing industrial methods and passes standard durability tests required for car paint. Until now, materials this dark were too fragile for practical use.
