Shooting at Kraków's Main Square: deaths and injuries

On Saturday afternoon at Kraków's Main Square, an armed attacker opened fire on pedestrians. At least six people were killed and over a dozen wounded, including three police officers. The 25-year-old Polish citizen acted alone — after exchanging fire with officers he was shot and detained. Prime Minister Donald Tusk arrived at the scene, and Kraków's president declared a period of mourning.
