Over 5,000 measles cases in USA: highest in 35 years

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has recorded over 5,000 confirmed measles cases in the USA — the worst result in 35 years. Nearly 60 percent of those infected are children and teenagers.
