Fox News: Trump considered resuming attacks on Iran, with November 9 cited as date
According to Fox News, citing senior U.S. administration officials, Trump met Thursday with his national security team to discuss resuming military operations against Iran. November 9 was suggested as a potential attack date — a new moon falls that day, providing darkness favorable for operations. U.S. Central Command was finalizing preparations but has received no new directives from Washington. Trump has said publicly he will "make a decision soon," while noting he prefers not to destroy the rest of Iran.
