Four US states sue Trump administration over Medicaid work requirement
Oregon, Minnesota, New Mexico, and Washington filed suit in federal court in Oregon, challenging the Trump administration's Medicaid reform. The plaintiffs argue that the requirement to work 80 hours monthly as a condition of health coverage will cause "irreversible harm." The suit was filed less than six weeks before the January 1 deadline set by the Republicans' One Big Beautiful Bill.
