Goncourt Prize winner used ChatGPT three times while writing book

Philippe Jaenada, this year's Goncourt Prize laureate, disclosed on France Inter radio that he used AI tools three times while working on the award-winning book. Once he embedded a ChatGPT-generated sentence "for fun with readers," another time he used AI to mock the chatbot's absurd responses, and a third time for research. The writer emphasized that AI cannot be rejected — it must be tamed so it does not replace us.
