AI agents will design and manage robotic laboratories

A team of artificial intelligence agents can simulate a complex laboratory of robots and equipment, verify that the physical workspace operates properly, and then direct its operations in real time. Research results were published by Nature magazine on November 6. The system is intended to enable automation of scientific experiments without constant human oversight.
