Russia using Rassvet satellite network to control drones over Ukraine

Ukrainian military intelligence (GUR) told Reuters that Russia is now using its new Rassvet satellite network — presented as a Starlink equivalent — for military communications over Ukraine to increase strike drone precision and hinder jamming. This year Russia launched 32 Rassvet satellites into orbit in two batches, in March and July. This is only a fraction of SpaceX's Starlink network's over 10,000 satellites, whose military version Starshield is used by Ukraine.
