Senate approves tax threshold increase to 130,000 zloty and new PIT and CIT rates
The Senate approved without amendments a tax law: the first PIT bracket rises from 120,000 to 130,000 zloty (12% rate), and income between 130,000 and 150,000 zloty falls under a new 24% rate. Above 150,000 zloty the rate remains 32%. The solidarity tax increases from 4% to 5%, and CIT for companies with revenues exceeding 50 million euros rises from 19% to 22%. The law now goes to President Karol Nawrocki for signature; he has 21 days to decide.
