Spacesuit samples on Mars: scientists study dust impact on future missions

Scientists placed samples of materials used to build spacesuits aboard the Perseverance rover to test how Martian dust affects them. The results are to help prepare astronauts for future crewed missions to the Red Planet. Research is led in part by Scott VanBommel from Washington University in St. Louis.
