17-year-old in Kadłub killed stepfather and grandmother with axe, filmed crimes and posted online
In the night of 25–26 February 2026 in Kadłub, Łukasz G. attacked his 38-year-old stepfather with a hammer and machete, then killed his 86-year-old grandmother lying in bed with an axe. Between the murders he posted footage of the stepfather's death on social media, then changed clothes, edited material and shared it online along with a video in which he confessed. After the crimes he left by bus through Strzelce Opolskie to Krapkowice, where he hid in bushes by the river. Police detained him around 1 p.m. — blood tests showed no alcohol or drugs.
