Ancient DNA reveals how Germanic and Celtic languages spread across Europe

Analysis of thousands of ancient human genome sequences has allowed scientists to trace migrations that may have spread early forms of Germanic and Celtic languages across Europe. The findings were published on November 4 in the prestigious journal "Nature". It is one of the largest paleogenomic studies of prehistoric Europe to date.
