EU court annuls ruling on 3.4 billion euro state aid for KLM

The Court of Justice of the EU in Luxembourg annulled on Thursday a ruling by the EU General Court that had voided the European Commission's decision approving 3.4 billion euros in state aid to Dutch airline KLM. The case concerned support given to the carrier during the pandemic crisis. The CJEU's ruling means the Commission's decision approving the aid remains valid.
