NewJeans contract denied sleep and free time rights to members aged 14-17
According to a New York Times report, members of k-pop girl group NewJeans signed restrictive contracts with label Ador that denied them rights to sleep, rest, and free choice. The agreements were signed when the artists were 14 to 17 years old — while still minors. The contract removed standard protections for underage minors.
