Glapiński: inflation has fallen, but November is crucial for interest rates
NBP President Adam Glapiński said that October's fall in inflation to the NBP's target is good news, but does not mark the end of a period of elevated inflation. He pointed to risks from high commodity prices, weak conditions in the euro area and Germany, and possible growth slowdown in 2027. He noted that the Monetary Policy Council is ready to act if inflation risks grow, and will regard November as a decisive month for January interest rate decisions.
