Long weekend November 11: mountains popular, prices 25% lower
During this year's long weekend on November 11, Poles are heading to the mountains most — their share of bookings rose from 35% to 42%. Average accommodation prices are over 25% lower than during other long weekends this year. The most popular destinations are Szklarska Poręba, Świeradów-Zdrój and Szczyrk. The number of bookings is only 4% lower than a year ago, which experts attribute to a less favorable calendar layout (November 11 falls on a Wednesday).
