China reveals details of crewed moon landing plan
Wang Xiang, chief designer of China's lunar exploration program, announced on November 3 an official plan for a crewed mission: two Long March 10 rocket launches will carry the Lanyue lander and Mengzhou spacecraft to lunar orbit. Two of three taikonauts will transfer to the lander and descend to the lunar surface. China is on track to complete the mission before 2030 — it has already successfully tested the lander and the Mengzhou spacecraft's emergency system.
