US aims to break China's EV battery dominance by 2030

The United States is working to build its own electric vehicle battery supply chain by 2030 to overcome China's dominance in the sector. The challenge is severe: battery projects worth tens of billions of dollars have already been cancelled. China currently controls most of the world's EV battery production capacity.
