Final conviction for kidnapping and beating 16-year-old in Śrem
The Poznań Court of Appeal upheld on 3 November the sentences for four men who in spring kidnapped, beat, and attempted to rape a 16-year-old boy in Śrem with a bat. The main perpetrator, 43-year-old Mariusz Z., received 7 years in prison; Michał L. — 6 years and 2 months; Franciszek G. — 5.5 years; driver Jarosław J. — 1.5 years. The men acted in retaliation for the alleged sexual abuse of one man's daughter by the teenager.
