Karl Bushby returns to Hull after 28-year walk around the world
57-year-old Briton Karl Bushby completed on November 2 the expedition he began on November 1, 1998 in Chile. Over 28 years he covered approximately 50,000 km, walked through 30 countries on four continents, and crossed the frozen Bering Strait, the English Channel, and the Caspian Sea. The journey was interrupted by roughly 13 years of breaks due to wars, visa problems, and the COVID-19 pandemic. His mother, son Adam, and local officials were waiting for him in Hull.
