Five rescued after nearly three months adrift in Pacific near Kiribati

Five people, including two children, were rescued off Fanning Island near Kiribati after drifting in a small boat across the Pacific Ocean for nearly three months following a storm that swept them into open water. The castaways travelled approximately 5,400 km before being found.
