Tusk: Security services detected suspicious activity on Polish-Russian border at night
Prime Minister Donald Tusk said services had warned of a possible attempt by armed people to enter Polish territory in the first half of November. Border Guard observed individuals with flashlights at the Russian border during the night; additional forces were quickly mobilized. The government had previously put police, Border Guard and counterterrorism units on heightened alert due to growing Russian activity.
