Why 70% of people eat the same breakfast daily
Research by Dr. Romain Cadario from Rotterdam School of Management, published in the journal "Appetite", shows that nearly 70% of people repeat the same breakfast combination at least twice a week, whereas fewer than 10% adopt similar repetition for dinner. Scientists explain this through a split between utilitarian motivations (morning) and hedonistic ones (evening) — breakfast is fuel for action. A fixed meal plan also protects against decision fatigue, conserving mental energy for more challenging tasks during the day.
