Medyc data breach: 5 million Poles can check if they were affected

In late September, a medical data breach from the Medyc system, used by many Polish medical offices, was disclosed — the incident may have affected as many as 5 million people. On the government portal bezpiecznedane.gov.pl anyone can check whether their PESEL number was among the stolen data. The breach included sensitive health information of Polish citizens.
