Former PiS activist sentenced to 7 years for defrauding 140 farmers of 7 million zlotys
The District Court in Siedlce sentenced Marek G., former chairman of the Łosice county council and PiS activist, to 7 years in prison for fraud. Together with his wife Małgorzata G., he defrauded over 7 million zlotys from 140 individuals and businesses, knowing the company lacked financial resources. Marek G. was previously a parliamentary candidate but resigned from his council seat and PiS membership after crimes were revealed. The man was arrested in mid-October 2021 by police from Biała Podlaska.
