Tax authority uncovers 120 billion zloty in public spending irregularities

The National Tax Administration discovered irregularities totaling over 120 billion zloty during a public funds audit. It referred 263 reports to prosecutors alleging possible crimes involving sums exceeding 106 billion zloty. The scale of detected abuses ranks among the largest in the history of Polish public finance controls.
