Patient Ombudsman launches investigation into death of woman in childbirth

The Patient Ombudsman's office has launched an investigation following a Fakt report about a woman's death during childbirth at a hospital in Wałbrzychu. The ombudsman's office called the case "an enormous tragedy whose circumstances must be thoroughly clarified." It is another case drawing attention to the safety of childbirth in Poland.
