AirAsia row over unpaid seat: entire group ejected from plane

On October 25, a passenger on an AirAsia flight in Kuala Lumpur sat in a seat next to her husband without paying for it. When staff asked her to return to her assigned seat or pay, she refused. The five-person group accompanying the couple started arguing, the pilot called security, and everyone was removed from the plane. The flight eventually took off significantly delayed.
