IceCube detects neutrinos 10 billion times more energetic than solar neutrinos
The IceCube observatory, embedded in Antarctic ice, has detected cosmic neutrinos with energy 10 billion times higher than neutrinos from the Sun. These so-called "ghost particles" pass through matter with almost no trace, and their analysis may provide knowledge about the Big Bang and extreme cosmic phenomena. Scientists believe this discovery opens new possibilities for studying the universe's greatest mysteries.
