Polish central bank board member's term expires Wednesday, threatening bank paralysis

Adam Lipinski's term as a member of the Polish National Bank's management board expires on Wednesday. After his departure, the NBP board will fall below the statutory minimum of six members, potentially paralyzing key central bank functions. Finance Minister Andrzej Domański has announced he will discuss the matter with Prime Minister Donald Tusk.
