Storm in Canary Islands: flooded streets, landslides and snow on Teide

A violent storm swept over the Canary Islands, causing widespread damage: flooded streets and beaches, fallen trees, landslides and power outages. Spain's highest peak, Teide, received snow and hiking trails were closed. According to weather forecasts, the worst impacts of the storm are still to come.
