Refrigerator magnets do not harm appliances, manufacturers have no objections
Magnets on refrigerators do not damage electronics, disrupt the thermostat, or raise electricity bills — this is a myth without basis in physics. Weak magnetic fields from vacation gadgets cannot penetrate the steel housing and insulation layer. Appliance manufacturers do not prohibit hanging decorations in instruction manuals. The only risk is scratching the paint when sliding sharp objects across the door.
