Bytom theft suspect assaulted security guard, faces five charges
On October 30, a 40-year-old man stole four bottles of alcohol from central Bytom and attacked an intervening security guard before fleeing. Police located him two hours later — he was already wanted by prosecutors. Investigators linked him to a series of alcohol and perfume thefts from January to October causing losses near 14,000 zł. The man faces five charges, including three counts of robbery theft; a court ordered his arrest for three months.
