National Prosecutor's Office takes over investigation into PKOl chief Piesiewicz
The National Prosecutor's Office has taken over from the Regional Prosecutor's Office in Gdańsk an investigation into financial and tax irregularities at the Polish Basketball Association, Polish Basketball League S.A., and the Polish Olympic Committee. The case concerns 2022–2024 and includes charges of issuing unreliable VAT invoices through a sole proprietorship. The investigation has been combined with the Zondacrypto case, in which PKOl chief Radosław Piesiewicz is in temporary arrest.
