Delaware plans to let AI independently run companies

Delaware plans to introduce a 30-month regulatory sandbox allowing artificial intelligence agents to establish and operate businesses with virtually no human involvement — requiring only one person at the registration stage. The proposal excludes banking but permits any other legal activity. Republican congressman James Comer wrote to the state governor demanding safety assessments and warning of federal intervention if results are not satisfactory.
