Ukrainian woman attempted to bribe guard 100 zloty at Medyka border
On October 28 at the Medyka border crossing, an officer stopped a Renault with Ukrainian plates and excessively tinted windows — measuring equipment confirmed the standards were exceeded. When the travelers heard the vehicle would not be allowed into Poland, the passenger offered the officer 100 zloty. The woman was detained and brought to the prosecutor's office, where she faced corruption charges. The car and passengers were sent back to Ukraine.
