Over 53 million Americans voted early ahead of midterm elections
Two days before the midterm elections scheduled for Tuesday, over 53 million Americans had already voted early, according to University of Florida analysis. This exceeds the 46 million who voted early in the midterm elections. Among registered voters who cast ballots early are over 11 million Democrats and about 8 million Republicans. Latest national polls show 51.5 percent support for Democrats and 43.1 percent for Republicans.
