Jaworzno: 11-year-old on bike struck by bus, hospitalized

The accident occurred on Katowice Street in Jaworzno around 3 p.m. The boy was riding his bicycle on the sidewalk and apparently rode onto a marked pedestrian crossing, hitting the side of a municipal bus. He was hospitalized with serious injuries; the bus driver was sober. Police urge parents to remind children to dismount their bicycles before crossing at pedestrian crossings.
