Polish bishops warn of deep state crisis over Constitutional Court

The Presidium of the Polish Episcopate issued a statement on 31 October 2026 expressing "great concern" over the Constitutional Court conflict. Bishops say the prolonged dispute about the constitutional foundations of the state undermines national unity. They warn that escalation of the conflict leads to deep crisis and threatens the stability of the Republic.
