Hackers steal $6.3 billion from Binance in largest cryptocurrency theft ever
The Binance platform fell victim to a cyberattack in which $6.3 billion was stolen from users. Analysts point to North Korea as the likely perpetrator. The attack surpasses the previous record from February 2025, when hackers stole $1.5 billion from the Bybit exchange.
