From November 2026, €2 fee on every package from outside the EU

From 1 November 2026, the EU handling fee for processing customs declarations on goods purchased online from outside the European Union will take effect. The European Commission has set it at 2 euros per item in a customs declaration. The fee is independent of order value, so it will apply to both cheap and expensive products imported from third countries.
