Gdańsk to Warsaw in 100 minutes: new rail routes planned for Pomerania
Officials from Pomeranian self-government, PKP PLK and the CPK company discussed plans for the Integrated Rail Network in Gdańsk. The key investment is the Central Northern Rail Line (speeds up to 350 km/h) connecting the Tri-City through Grudziądz and Toruń with the new airport and Warsaw. Plans also include the Warmian Line (Gdańsk–Olsztyn in about 60 minutes) and the Baltic Line (Gdańsk–Szczecin in 3 hours). The region will gain roughly 160 km of new lines in total.
