Fuel thief crashes into police car while fleeing in Łódź
Police from Łódź's Bałuty district identified a 39-year-old man responsible for a series of fuel thefts in Łódź and the region. On 22 October, the man ignored a stop order at the intersection of Traktorowa and Judyma streets, then fled through the city until he collided with the pursuing police car. He was charged with seven offences including violating a court ban on driving and using someone else's registration plate. He faces up to 5 years in prison.
