Social welfare recipient steals safe with 42,000 zloty in Pasłęk

26-year-old Jerzy W. and his 34-year-old associate Paweł P. broke into a social assistance center in Pasłęk at night and removed a heavy safe containing over 42,000 zloty earmarked for benefit payments. Jerzy W. admitted during the investigation that he knew the layout of the building because he himself received welfare benefits. The trial of the burglars has just begun in Elbląg court.
