Korwin-Piotrowska suspends Constitutional Court president and vice president for one month
Constitutional Court judge Anna Korwin-Piotrowska issued an order on October 30 suspending for one month president Bogdan Święczkowski and vice president Bartłomiej Sochański. She cited Article 12, Section 4 of the Constitutional Court Act, invoking her longest tenure as a judge. Święczkowski was accused of blocking the General Assembly, preventing five judges from ruling, and favoring cases important to "specific political groups."
