Condor shifts strategy: leaving small US cities for major hubs

German carrier Condor, known for its striped aircraft, is abandoning its current connections to smaller US cities — including Anchorage, Baltimore and San Antonio — and focusing on major airports instead. The change follows the end of its partnership with Lufthansa and the need to ensure feed traffic for its long-haul fleet from Frankfurt. CEO Peter Gerber announced the new strategy at Routes World conference on 21 October.
