Trichologist explains why most hair falls out in the shower
Trichologist Klaudia Nawrocka reassures that clumps of hair during head washing rarely indicate excessive hair loss. We physiologically lose 50–150 hairs daily, and in the shower warm water, scalp massage and shampoos simultaneously release dead hairs that have accumulated over several days. An added optical illusion: a wet clump looks dramatic, though the number of hairs may be completely normal.
