Chopin Airport: new C3 scanners allow carrying up to 2 liters of liquids
Frederic Chopin Airport in Warsaw is replacing baggage scanners with C3 standard devices, called "dragons" by staff. The new machines use computed tomography and allow baggage screening without removing laptops and liquids, and the limit for liquids in a single container increases from 100 ml to 2 liters. The replacement in all zones is to be completed by the end of November, with the entire airport modernization project lasting until 2029.
