GIS warns of dangerous substances in KiK kitchen tool set

Poland's Chief Sanitary Inspectorate has issued a warning about a five-piece kitchen tool set sold at KiK stores. Tests found that primary aromatic amines — chemicals harmful to health — migrate from the product material into food. The alert reached Polish authorities through RASFF, the European rapid alert system; the product is to be withdrawn from sale.
